The APRM VNRs report provides a synthesis on the processes and institutional arrangements and mechanisms of Voluntary National Reporting (VNRs) on SDGs in Africa. Guided by inputs and presentations of thirty (30) African countries which participated in the APRM Continental workshops on VNRs and domestication of Agenda 2063 in 2021 in Djibouti and 2022 in Abuja-Nigeria . Further, the report shared best practices, the report also contributes to the APRM Expanded mandate on Agenda 2063 and SDGs monitoring and evaluation alongside the AU-UN Framework for the implementation of both Agenda2063 and the 2030 Agenda through Knowledge-sharing and peer-learning between African countries.

The report was launched officially during the APRM engagement in the HLPF 2022 (15 July 2022) at the United Nations – New York.
