APRM Side Event on the margins of 2022 High-Level Political Forum : “Beyond Recovery: enhancing evidence- based Assessment of SDG and Agenda 2063: Africa We Want”

Under the APRM expanded mandate, the APRM has been supporting the monitoring and evaluation of Agenda 2030 and 2063 especially SDG 16 (Aspiration three: Africa with good governance, democracy, rule of law and human rights).

This year, The High-level Political forum will take place from  (13-18 July) and twenty-one African countries will be presenting Voluntary National Reporting (VNR) on SDGs progress and alignment with Agenda 2063. The APRM, in partnership with the AU mission to the UN and African countries is hosting a high-level side event on the current progress towards both agendas. Further, the side event offers a regional platform for member states to share reflections on the second-ten-year implementation plan (STYIP).
