Executive Summary - 3rd Africa High-Level Forum on South-South and Triangular Cooperation for Sustainable Development

The African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), in collaboration with the Government of Sierra Leone and a group of development partners, convened the third Africa High-Level Forum on South-South and Triangular Cooperation (HLFSSTrC) in Freetown from 7 to 9 May 2025.

This premier continental platform provided a timely and strategic expose to African countries, APRM national structures and partners to consolidate Africa’s agency and elevate the voice of the Global South in shaping a more just and multipolar international order. Hosted under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio, President of Sierra Leone, the Forum gathered more than 700 participants, including 200 international policy makers, government leaders, civil society, youth, academics, private sector actors, and development partners.
